Utah State Law allows options for voting before Election Day, including Early Voting and Absentee Voting.

Early Voting

WHAT?  Voting in person up to 14 days prior to Election Day at selected locations.
WHO?  Any person registered to vote at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
WHERE & WHEN? Early voting locations and times are will be announced approximately six weeks before each election.

Absentee Voting

WHAT?  Commonly referred to as voting by mail or ‘absentee.’
WHO?  Any person who is registered to vote may apply. 
HOW?  By submitting an Absent-Voter application.  A person may apply for permanent Absentee Voter Status by checking the appropriate box on the application form.
WHEN?  Anytime prior to the Election, but requests MUST be received no later than the Friday before the election.
