Visitation Hours & Information
Visitors of Sevier County Jail Inmates may visit from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Trustee visits are allowed Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visits may last up to one hour, unless a visitor is traveling from over 100 miles away, in which case they may visit for up to two hours. Please note that any visit can be terminated by officers if visiting rules are violated.

Mailing Inmates
We do not allow home-made items, stickers, wet substances, or cash to be sent via mail to any inmate. These are just a few of the items we don't allow. For a more extensive list of restricted items, please contact us. The address you should use for mailing inmates is as follows:

Placing Money Into an Inmate's Account
If you desire to put money in an inmate's account, you may mail a money order in the inmate's name (note that no cash or personal checks will be accepted in the mail).  You may also bring cash to the jail's front window or add money to their phone account through a kiosk in our front lobby.

Posting Bail
You can call the jail to find out much an inmate's bail has been set at. You may then either pay the bail in cash directly at the jail or go to the court and make a payment to them. Alternatively, you may contact a bail bondsman that is licensed in the state of Utah. Bondsmen may be found online or through the phone book.
