Early / Absentee Voting
Options
Utah state law allows options for voting before election day, including early voting and absentee voting.

Early Voting
  • What: Voting in person up to 14 days prior to election day at selected locations
  • Who: Any person registered to vote at least 30 days prior to election day
  • When and where: Early voting locations and times will be announced approximately six weeks before each election; view early voting times and locations on the Vote Utah website

Absentee Voting
  • What: Commonly referred to as voting by mail or absentee voting
  • Who: Any person who is registered to vote may apply
  • How: By submitting an Absentee Voter Application (a person may apply for permanent absentee voter status by checking the appropriate box on the application form)
  • When: Any time prior to the election, but requests must be received no later than the Friday before the election
  • Where: Please mail your request for an absentee ballot to:

    Elections Office

    Richfield, UT 84701
